David and Leyanne first crossed paths in April 2017. David had a crush on Leyanne but it wasn't until January 2019 that the spark between them ignited into a flame of romance.

David and Leyanne have since shared countless moments of joy, laughter, and adventure. From exploring new destinations to trying different foods at new restaurants, each experience added to their love story. Through the ups and downs, navigating the challenges of a global pandemic and conquering the trials of a long-distance relationship while David pursued a master's degree in Florida, their love only grew stronger.

In November 2023, David asked Leyanne to be his forever and, with tears of joy and hearts full of love, they embraced the next chapter of their story—an engagement that marked the beginning of a lifetime together. David and Leyanne will continue to grow in love as they aspire to travel the world, experience new adventures, and chase their dreams together.

Brittany Pangaliman Brittany is Leyanne's younger sibling and the social butterfly of the family. Britt's energetic spirit lights up every room she enters and her relentless pursuit of knowledge inspires everyone around her. Leyanne is filled with gratitude to have Britt by her side as her amazing sister, forever friend, and maid of honor.

Jacob Nickless Jake met David in his MFA program where they became close friends and business partners. Jake has an amazing sense of humor and likes to play music. He is also extremely passionate about any project or endeavor the two of them face together, whether it's working on a film or being David's best man.

Whelloby Pangaliman Whelloby is Leyanne's cherished cousin-turned-bridesmaid. They grew up very closely and have been by each other's sides throughout many milestones. At family parties, they get a little competitive and play card games like pusoy dos with their other cousins. Leyanne admires Whelloby's unwavering positivity and her ability to make anyone laugh with her cute sense of humor.

Michael Papa As his little brother, Michael has known David his entire life. Growing up, they bonded over movies, anime, and video games. Some things never change, except they both agree that Michael is now the best gamer in the family.

Jocelyn Solorio Jocelyn and Leyanne met and bonded over their shared love of clothes and shopping while working at American Eagle almost 10 years ago. Since then, Leyanne has gotten closer to Jocelyn's family, who she considers as an extension of her own. What started as a playful joke about Jocelyn being a Leyanne's bridesmaid has now become a beautiful reality.

Adam Wells Adam is one of the first friends that David made while working on his MFA in Florida. They have both worked on each other's film sets and like to grab food together. He is an encyclopedia of movies and is (modestly) really athletic.

Kathleen Wong Introduced to Leyanne by her beloved fiancé, David, Kathleen quickly became a big part of Leyanne's life. Kathleen has a warm personality with many hobbies and passions. From capturing beautiful moments behind the lens to crocheting cute masterpieces, Kathleen's creativity is what Leyanne loves so much about her.

Joshua Abraham Although they are cousins, David and Josh grew up like twins, having been born close together. In the past, they would build train sets and play video games. David and Josh now live on opposite sides of the country but it doesn't stop them from bonding over board games and party games during holidays. He is exceptionally smart and can get along with anyone.

Taha Ahmed Taha and Leyane first met in their math class during sophomore year in high school. They have since become inseperable, sharing so much laughter and countless unforgettable moments. Taha is always on the lookout for her next adventure. Leyane cherishes their long friendship and is grateful for the joy and spontaneity Taha brings to her life.

Jordan Kost Jordan has known David since grade school and throughout high school they nurtured their passion in filmmaking. Jordan is a technology guru and can fix any computer problem. Like their friendship, Jordan and David's passion for film persists in their continued collaboration.

Lea Alcantara Lea is Leyanne's future sister-in-law. She is known for her meticulous organization skills and is an amazing dancer. Leyanne adores Lea's passion for anything Disney, knowing that together they will be sharing many magical moments as they begin a new chapter of sisterhood. With Lea by her side, Leyanne is gaining a bridesmaid and a guiding light in a lovely older sister.

Mark Alcantara Mark is David's brother-in-law but even before marrying David's sister Lea, Mark has been very close to the family. Mark is a man of many talents: he is a skilled wrestler and fisher. You can find Mark by his contagious laughter.

What is the dress code?

The dress code for our event is formal. Ladies should wear a floor-length evening gown or your most dressy cocktail dress. Gentlemen should wear a suit with a tie or bow tie. Please reserve navy blue for our bridal party.

Can I bring a plus one?

Due to limited space, we can only accommodate those guests formally invited on your wedding invitation. If you received an invitation for a plus one, they would be listed under your name when you RSVP.

Can I bring children?

We love your little ones but due to our limited space, we respectfully request you only bring children included in the invitation.

How long does it take to get from the church to the reception?

Driving from the church to the reception venue should take approximately 15 without traffic.

Where do you recommend guests stay overnight?

For your convenience, a block of rooms have been reserved at the Home2 Suites by Hilton Hayward at a discounted rate. Please book a room in our hotel block using the link in the RSVP form.
